Christian Edwin Field

Quirky, edgy, introverted: these three words describe Christian in a nutshell. Although quiet and introverted, Christian loves to share his unique sense of humor with his friends, taking pride in these relationships. He enjoys spending his free time alone in his room listening to music or spending time with his friends. Behind his quiet persona is a kind, humorous, and curious spirit that was great to work with during our time in the studio.

This project really allowed me to explore photography from a new perspective. I have not spent much time behind the camera before this project, so it was interesting to learn about how to properly take photos and illustrate a purpose through them. Through this assignment I learned not only shooting techniques, but also how to incorporate someone's identity into a photograph by experimenting with lighting and poses. Because Christian is more introverted, I experimented different angles with his face away from the camera. I am very happy with how the shots turned out and I feel they fully encompass Christian's personality.
